how about a good vcr/dvd to buy?

im not sure if im goignt o get s new tv. but if i do i need to get a vcr and dvd. i still have vhs and i record my shows. dont know about that tivo stuff and not sure how to use it.

what would you advice?

i know flat screens has a dvd on the side. if i get one of htose what brand for a vhs should i get.

is there a dvd player record shows on the tv?
 
There are dvd/vhs/TVrecorders (3 in one). Get one of those. If it is a brand name you've heard before, it probably works just fine.
