Hey,
Saw thi9s film yesterday, it was okay jumped up in a few bits...Surprisingly paris hilton isnt that bad in the film, thought she be alot worse...Whats everyone think of it?And does anyone know how well it did when it first came out.
 
It was a lot better than the line' em up and kill 'em off teen crap I was expecting. The production design was very good and the idea of a real "wax" museum was ingenious, if a bit unlikely.
As you say, Paris Hilton was ok but she didn't really have much competition: the dorky one from Supernatural and Kim Bauer, it's a wonder anyone survived.
It makes a change to find a remake which is actually a totally different movie and PH with pole in her head (instead of some other part, as in her previous movie outing) is always worth a look. :)
 
Original version with Vincent Price is Superb. Saw it during the Edinburgh Film festival in the mid 90s in its original 3D Very good much better than the remake.
 
don't like it either! :(
it's very bad. if you like to see blood and body cut, better see SAW.. yeah.. all the sequels
 
It was abit creepy and the scene's like when he chopped her finger off and when that guy's heel's were cut made me flinch...

But the ending was terrible!! Asif that whole house would burn like it did!
 
it's the most stupid film i've seen in a long time...I mean, how the hell do you build a house out of wax, bit of a problem on a hot sunny day!..and as someone above mentioned, they were covered in molten wax yet came out unscathed..The only good bit was watching paris hilton get a pole through the head!
 
Thought it was a typical no brainer movie, also thought PH was better than I expected, no worse then any of the other kiRAB in the film which is probably not saying much!

I didnt mind this film. I watched it on a massive screen the effects were amazing. (probably better than the acting :D ) but on the whole I liked this film.

People just slag it off because Paris Hilton is involved.
 
Think they mean Nick and Carly...whent hey finally escape there is wax everywhere, yet they are able to touch it, roll around in it etc without suffering the same fate as those inside the building.
