Anyone any similarities and differences for these films? Like essay answer 1s , not like 'there both rubbish'

Its for this media thing for my mate who is struggling
 
maybe you could talk about the sibling connections running through both films. With the brother/sister in 13th and brother/sister V twins in house of wax.

I cant really remember that much about friday the 13th but i guess your friend could look at it from either a story angle or the cinematography of both films and how such horror films manage to scare us, or if modern horror films have changed to become more shock value as weve come acustom to violence through the media.

Anyway some ideas to start from
 
I am trying to think if there were a brother and sister in the campers. :confused:

Im a bit lost really as the two films selected are so totally different :confused:.
 
you can go with the 'horror as porn' angle and contrast the changing porn elements from 1980 - 2005 with sexual liberation of the same period ahem
