House Of Wax (2005 Version)

Its OK in its slasher parts, and the gore and suspense is stuffed in.

Although the set up is OK at best, it's only when the last few are left that it gets a little more interesting. It is by no-means the best movie of its type, and Paris is genuinely terrible. However its OK and for
 
Its better than what alot of people say, also don't just disriguard Pari Hilton just because of what she has done or what she may seem to be.

She does a pretty decent job in the movie, but Elisha steals the show ;)

Wow! 5 quid - guarenteed fake!

I was stunned at how scary it was (or was it how much it scared me?)

THAT bit when she gets her head cut off and he drags her copse away from her first person view! Oh, the hellishness of those scenes!

WHAT an ending though! Ha! I guess that's why they call it House of Wax.
 
Watched this last night. i enjoyed it.

Good acting from Murray and Cuthbert.

Elisha Cuthbert is quite attractive so that was good.... and it was well directed i thought
 
i bought and watched this yesterday, i thought it was a great film, but then again i quite like every horror type movie.

I dont think Paris Hilton should get too much critism as she doesnt play a big part in the movie and hardly has any lines at all.

Although I do have to say though the demise of the characters was great to watch.
 
I agree, I think there were some pseudo-tongue-in-cheek (if there is such an expression!) elements but you have to admit, it was a highly original climax... And at the end where
all that wax is on the pavement
that was good!

I admit though the sort of cliffhanger ending was lame. Remember,
it turns out there were three brothers and one of them was the weird deer carcass man who drives off at the end...
