Hour long tv show

There were some. New Scooby-Doo Movies come to mind.

If you want to really stretch it, there was also "Pink Panther Laugh and a Half Hour and a Half", but that was essentially an hour-long compliation of DePatie-Freleng theatricals. The only thing new were "Misterjaw" and 30-second bumpers featuring the characters.

Also, the color "Crusader Rabbit" episodes. Each story was originally split into 10 five-minute cliffhangers, but in later reruns the parts were edited together to form one-hour long episodes and aired as that in some markets.

The first three Seasons of Super Friends come to mind, but only the first season contained hour long stories as opposed to the other two made up of more than one story.

The second season had the following format:
- A short story with two (three on the occasions that Robin came along with Batman) of the main Super Friends.
- A short story where the Wonder Twins would save some teens from a reckless activity or danger in general.
- A half hour story with the main 5 Super Friends and the Wonder Twins
- A short story with one of the main Super Friends and a guest hero.

The third season had the following format:
- A half hour story with the main 5 Superfriends and other heroes from the DC Universe fighting Lex Luthor and the Legion Of Doom.
- A half hour story with the main five Superfriends and The Wonder Twins.

The Danny Phantom Specials always seemed to air in an hour format, rather than being broken into two parters.

CBS's The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show was originally an hour long, as was NBC's Smurfs and ABC's The Flintstone Kids. Mind you, none of those series had any hour long stories.

Hour long shows were a big staple of Saturday mornings in the 70's and 80's. Sometimes two to three shows would even be blended together for an anthology series:

- The Richie Rich/Scooby Doo Show
- Mork & Mindy/Fonz & The Happy Days Gang/Laverne & Shirley in the Army
- Little Rascals/Richie Rich/Monchichis

Then you'd have shows like Flintstone Kids, which have one half hour story, a ten minute story, a Captain Caveman short, a Dino short, and another FK short.

In the Real Ghostbuster's Third Year, it expanded to an hour and became SLIMER! & The Real Ghostbusters, sandwiching a RGB half hour ep with two to three Slimer Shorts per episode.

When CBS picked up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it ran for an hour for four seasons, with one episode being a typical 'Shredder tries to take over plot', and one episode being an episode focusing on a specific turtle.

The Smurfs ran from an hour to ninety minutes depending on the season, and NEVER ran for less than an hour during it's network run.

Muppet Babies also ran for an hour up until it's final seasons, as did Superfriends.

Actually, when Muppet Babies was launched in 1985, it was only 30 minutes. In its' second season, a new segment entitled Little Muppet Monsters was added, expanding the show to the 60 minute Jim Henson's Muppets, Babies and Monsters. However, Little Muppet Monsters was canceled after only a month on the air, so CBS filled out the remaining run time with rerun episodes from Muppet Babies' first season.
