Hotsynch no longer works now that I added a Blackberry

I have a Tungsten T3 with PocketMirror, synching with Outlook 2003 with no issues. Until I installed my new Blackberry 7250 using Intellisync. Now my Palm Pilot no longer synchs. I get an error message sating that the connection between the handheld computer and the desktop could not be established.

I suspect that the conduits were clobbered during the Blackberry install, but cannot find an FAQ to that affect on either Palm's website or Verizon's.

Has anyone else here succesfully had both a Blackberry and a Palm device live happily on the same PC?

Thanks!

I have my Nextel Blackberry 7520 working on my PC harmoniously with My Palm and Pocket PC devices.

When you open up Hot-Sync Manager, does it give an error or any other indication that the port is in use by another device? or does it just not work.

Something you could try, go to your Blackberry Desktop Manager, and check the port being used and go to your Hot-Sync Manager and check the port there. You may need to change ports, or "un-check" one of the devices to get the other one to work.

Just as ActiveSync won't allow you to sync more than one PocketPC device simultaneously, (imho) you shouldn't try to get two PDA's to sync simultaneously either.

Does it work if you try one at a time, remove it from the cradle before connecting the other device?

Hope this helps.

I understand what you're saying, but my Palm is on a serial cable and the Blackberry is USB. Shouldn't be conflicting at all.

I think the Intellisync software overwrote the Conduits from Pocketmirror. I uninstalled the Blackberry Desktop Manager software and the Palm hot synch immediately started working again, without having to do anything.

I just don't want to keep uninstalling the RIM software everytime I want to synch my Palm.

Thanks for the response.
