my wife has a tungsten TX that she hotsyncs wirelessly and it worked great until sometime last week. I checked it out and can't find anything out of the ordinary. I installed a sniffer on my windows box that has HotSync manager running on it and I see my palm trying to contact port 14238. if I do a "netstat -a", I also see port 14238 listening on my box (I can even uncheck and check the Network option and I see the port go away and come back). if it's listening, why will it not answer. all I get is "The connection between your device and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again". I ran the palm desktop install again and using the "Modify Installation" option but haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. is there anything else I can try or is that the next logical step?
