Hot rumor: The Nokia N8 with Symbian^3

It means they probably implemented a reset solution with a certain button combo like ipods/the iphone

on the iphone, holding the home button and the wake/sleep button on top of the phone for 10 seconds will reset it at any time, even if the phone has crashed.

Hmm, I guess the SF still going with nHD resolution in S^3. Just read the changes in the roadmap and S^3 is still keeping nHD resolution. Kinda sucks

Symbian ^3 is step in the right direction for sure, that design looks "current" and big YAY for single tap :hehehe: But yeah, "better late than never" For Nokia, they sure are late for school

it does consume more power though. not sure how much of couse.and at 20 m units sold just last quarter it does add up even in cost. having said that i do wish they start putting more in.

Uxi, well, E7 is probably the one for you then! :) Although likely will not have the xenon (and 8mp "only")...

Arjwright, well, others say June/July so hopefully we won't be on page 398 buy then. :D

And you have to remember that this is Nokia and not other companies. They don't sell through carriers. They sell unlocked devices. I can just buy from their website or any of the more then dozen retailers who sell Nokia's in all their different variations.

Alright, I'll spill some beans. I just hope it stays w/in this forum and does not come around back to me. My source is a dear friend, first and foremost, and I'd like to continue to have that relationship.

There are 3 phones that I know of that are in the works for this year.

The one on Engadget kind of looks like the phone I got to play w/ last month except the backside is sealed with scratch resistant brushed aluminum and the location of the bottom button was in the center. And it was thinner than the N97 and had an 8mp/LED camera; I understand the bigger brother will have [at least] HDMI output.

My friend said he delivered a set of them to developers at a conference just a week prior. He said the case would not reveal too much about the physical properties of the phone. Perhaps, this is one of those phones.

I was told to expect something around May, but keep in mind that there are 3 phones (that I am at least aware of).
