For about 6 months now I've had pain, loss of circulation, hot/cold sensation and tingling in my left leg from the knee down to my foot. I have a baker's cyst and the specialist said I was not experiencing those symptoms from that. Woke up a couple of months ago with a "hot" feeling in my right leg, hot to me, not to the touch. I also have some back pain. I get hot spots on my thighs and back which will come and go. I was told it is not a pinched nerve in my back or knee. I find it awkward to walk, I feel as if I've had a few too many drinks. Any suggestions?

google dermatomes and see what areas of which thigh seem to match your sensations, and goto your primary or ortho and aim to get a MRI of the area. It could be a herniated disc/pinched nerve.

It is possible that you have a pinched nerve, this is something I live have lived with for the past 3 years. I highly reccomend finding a neurologist who specializes in the spine. There is a big difference between that type of Dr. and a General Neurologist. There are many things that they can do now a days to help. I take Neurontin and for me, it takes the pain 100% away...but it gives me brain fog. I have been taking it and dealing with that side affect for several years. some people just can not take it because the side affects are worse for them. But then you can try Lyrica and Topomax. I am just now trying Topomax over Neurontin, to see if it will work as well on my legs, but without the brain fog.

I wish you the very best.
