Hot-Blooded english VA's

If there's one thing that Japanese seiyuu are usually good at, it's having voices that BREAK THROUGH THE COSMIC FORCES OF HEAVEN, BRING IT DOWN TO EARTH AND PROCEED TO PIERCE THROUGH IT WITH THE POWER OF THEIR DRILL, GOLDION HAMMER AND ERUPTING GOD FINGER!!!

Er wait..let me try this again..

However, what of the famous VA's that are here stateside? Sure we know many of the voice actors of Japan that let graze us with the oozing force of awesome manliness (or awesome womanlyness in some cases coughcoughKallencoughcough) but are there voice actors that you felt have had the ability to just be...epic?

I've got some.

1. Dan Green (no, not that one, the real one)-Yeah, I said it. I don't care how cheesy or some say he is, he's freaking awesome. I mean, really, who else could make playing a children's card game even more over-the-top than it already was. Dan Green's voice is full of passion and even though I don't really watch YGO that much nowadays, I can at least look back at those times when I was a youngster and Yami was screaming about "I LAUNCH MY CATAPULT TURTLE AT YOUR CASTLE DESTROYING IT'S FLOATATION RING..." yaddayaddayadda.

Also he was Taiga in GaoGaiGar and pulled it off pretty much just as well as the original version so that's an automatic win in itself

2. Mark Gatha-Okay this is kind of cheating because not a lot of people in the anime community have heard of this guy but do you know who he played? Domon Kasshu of G Gundam. Yup, if there's one voice that I always love hearing the dub track for it's Mr. "ERUPTING BURNING FINGAARRRRRR!!!" I mean, dang. He's got nothing on the original seiyuu but man is he close. Really close. Sure he sounded like a professional wrestler all the time but I mean, he's got to keep that screaming up for 50 episodes. That's pretty impressive. Plus, Domon's dub voice is so nostalgic to so many people, so having a memory of that is great.

Jeez, how could I have forgotten Justin Cook. He's the textbook example of how delinquents should sound when they're dubbed correctly.

Ahh, good old "SPIRIT GUUUUNNNNNN!!!!"

Chris Sabat- What would DBZ be without him and his over 900 different voices? He may have started out slow, but he eventually became one of the most known anime voice actors of all time. He is pratically FUNimation's flagship voice actor. He continues to do well in his performances, currently as Roronoa Zoro in One Piece for example.

Dan Green- This guy just has such a great voice. Who would have though he voiced both Yugi and Yami Yugi, when both characters sound completely different? His voice has been argued as godlike. He continues to be one of 4kiRAB' best known talent.

Sean Schemmel- He started out as Goku from DBZ, capable of handling both his comical and serious moments well. Call it blasphemy, but at times I preferred Sean over Masako Nozawa as Adult Goku, mainly because his voice seemed to fit the character's age better. Even though 4kiRAB dubs have always been far from perfect, Sean Schemmel's appearances have been great.

Yur-*guns are pointed to my head*

...aaaaaabadaa......Mike Sinterniklaas was pretty hot blooded in GaoGaiGar. Not only that, he sounded just like Hiyama's performance. *guns are put away*

lol Exactly.

Well, I would think so (puts his gun away too)

Sinterniklaas, the only person ever to do a dub Hiyama role and succeed spectacularly (TRANSFORM INTO...LIIIIGGGGGHHHTTT!!)

Oh Sam Riegal. You were so close with your Viral but not close enough..

(sigh) Fine, yes, despite my feelings toward him being in nearly anything these days, his Simon voice was a good indication that yes, even Sasuke can be hot-blooded when he wants to be....

I really like the crew ADV asserabled to voice Godannar. They did an excellent job, all of them, that really matched with the characters and spirit of the show! They could shout with the best of the Japanese seiyu they all did such a great job on that one.

Okay, should I be weirded out that even though this thread was probably inspired by a certain anime no one has even bothered to bring up the main instigator:

That's right

Kyle Herbert as Kamina

There I said it. Pink elephant in the room BEGONE!

O-chan

Any voice actors I guess.

Oh, fine. Usually I associate Kyle Hebert with Gohan but yeah, he gives out hot-blooded vibes too.

David Vincent in GunXSword.

Besides the epic final episode, no one makes it manly to say

Sorry, but I'm STILL A VIRGIN! *Attacks stripper-pole mecha fighter*
