Hosts for newbie??

Using the Freewire app, it's not real fast but I'm satified with it! What I want to know is where can I get a list of hosts to connect to on startup, like connect1.gnutellanet.com:6346, etc. Or am I making a mistake by thinking I can specify any other hosts in here?
