Hostel 2

I watched Hostel2 last night....and wasn't all that impressed with it.

It kept me entertained, as much as this type of movie can, but it was just a continuation of the first one, really.
It sets out to shock, keeping with the theme of the first one...but I think we have seen it all before. There's no great surprises or twists this time either.

But if you are a horror fan, then of course you're still going to watch it

Obviously the copy going around is not going to be the finished product (there's a lot of very bad unedited cgi effects in it) and the ending was absurd......so I'll expect a slightly different, and more polished version to be officially released.

Still worth getting the torrent of this, though, as it's a really good copy.

I'm sure a few of you lot have got the same torrent, so what are your thoughts?

Someone asked me if I had Hostel 2 the other day, but I thought it wasn't out for a while.

I watched Hostel 2 last week and compared to the 1st one, i thought it was rubbish. To be honest I gave up 10 mins from the end.

I've seen the version that's floating around. I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as the first one.

There are a couple of pretty horrific scenes, but it doesn't linger in your mind for days after like the first one did!

I honestly don't think it will live up to the hype for most people, but then again these films are pretty damn twisted, so if that's your bag you'll probably be in Hostel Heaven anyway!
