Hospitals, Doctors, and BILLS?! Oh My!

I had mine out before the minimally invasive surgeries were the bomb. I have about a 4" scar right above my waist line. Luckily, since I'm getting fatter, it's less noticeable.

Yeah, that's what I was scared of at first. I didn't know what would happen if it was my appendix, and then they explained the surgery to me.

And Brion, you're not fat.

Okay, maybe not suppository laxatives.

But still! I could not shit for a week. Then again, I didn't really eat much for a week either.

And OH GOD, the air. Every time I moved, the air would shift, and I would feel like I was having a stroke. My shoulders would hurt, and my chest would feel like it was going to explode.

Awesome gore pictures.

P.S.- You really need to have them make an adjustment for your bills. They are negotiable. You can also go down the list of things you were charged for- they have been known to charge $60 for 2 pieces of gauze.

We've already gone over the bill. We got the statement itemized just to make sure. That's after they knocked 3k off the bill too, for the hospital stay.

And my gore pictures are pretty nice, huh? I think my appendix looks like a penis. lol.

;998374']I always knew there was something in you that made you "one of the guys".

P.S.- that's not what I "bumped", is it?

Damn... that sucks about the medical bills.

As far as what Jung said... that's all fine and dandy for those of use that can actually spare the ~$100/month. When you're living paycheck to paycheck that's extremely difficult. For those of us in that position, that's often $100 we need for things like.. say.. food or rent. Now indeed, not having health insurance is a gamble and may not be the smartest thing, but some people simply have no choice.

Yeah, unfortunately, having no job is stretching my funds pretty thin. So, by the time I get one again, I'll be pretty close to living paycheck to paycheck. However, due to my full time status as a student at my college, I'm covered under my stepdad's insurance, which is a blessing to have.

Oh you lost yours? I'm so sorry. :happysad:
