...who can help me? I really really need help with this lot. I would be so grateful if anyone could help and make sense of what i have to do. I am on a hospital placement and have a clinical assessment book which contains a series of learning outcomes.
For each learning outcome, i have to write how i can practice it, how i can meet the learning outcome, how to gain knowledge of the outcome and then provide some sort of evidence to demonstrate a practice and knowledge link of that outcome.
Here are the outcomes:-
Demonstrate literacy, numeracy and computer skills needed to record, store, retrieve and organise data essential for care delivery. Produce concise and written accounts which adhere to professional guidelines, participate in recording information effectively, accurately measure and record simple data, participate in use of technological data to enhance care delivery such as specimen results, prescriptions and evidence based practice.
2) Demonstrate an understanding of the role of others in participating in inter professional working practice, recognise important partnership in healthcare, communicare clearly and tactfully with colleagues, demonstrate awareness of ones own role, role of other colleagues in the team and participate in discussion of care requirements with relevant members of the health and social care team and others.
3) Contribute to the implementation of a programme of nursing care, designed by nursing practioners, demonstrate evidence of developing knowledge base which underpins nursing practice...undertake activities which are consistent with care plan and within limits of ones own abilities, identify examples of use of evidence in planned interventions, involve service user in delivery of care when appropriate and identify registered nurses role in administration of medicines, calculation of drug dosages, infection control.
