I am going to a rather formal restaurant (jacket required for men) and I am wondering whether I should wear pantyhose. The restaurant is in a large Midwestern city, and this will be taking place in a couple of weeks. I was raised with the idea that formality equals hose, but will I seem geriatric if I am wearing them in the summer? (I'm in my early 20s) Or would I be painfully under-dressed without them. BTW, this is a nationally-acclaimed restaurant.
