Horse DNA profiling or Testing...?

Im a student in Ireland, Studying Business and Equine, I have an assignment to hand in tomorrow its currently 2AM, And i need information ASAP, I need to know the procedures of DNA profiling... Ive done the hair samples version of the DNA test, I now need to discuss the procedures for taking a Blood DNA typing as a form of DNA, and cant find any info on it, Anyone able to help me???...
