Horse camp for teens?

I'm 16 and most kids my age are CIT's at camps. Is there a horse camp where I can really learn how to ride and take care of a horse that also has a lot of kids my age. I'm a girl, so I'll go to an all girls camp but you get extra brownie points if it's coed. Thanks :)
 
well, i dont know of any certified camps, but my barn has a camp every year. all ages can come. i myself am 15, about to turn 16, and most other riders are between 12 and 15. our trainer is 27, so shes lots of fun to hang out with. its not an overnight camp, however, many of us would be willing to share our homes. the camp is just generall riding and fun activities. were in burlington, nc. let me know if you would be interested, and i could give you our trainers phone number. shes better at explaining it then i am
