definitely!
im not a parent but as a teenager its just the kind of thing i needed when i was little to get me started, i dont think there is enough of this around apart from the odd day.

you could do one for adults aswell who often want to get into horses but work and cant help out at a stables.

really good idea!

The owners of my stable have a daughter who is going to Nationals. They have to raise $3000.

Yesterday it was suggested they host a horse camp for $250. It would be from 9 am to 4 pm for 5 days and would be Dec 29 to Jan 2. The kids would learn to groom, muck, take care of tack, how to halter and lead a horse. They would get to handle different horses with different temperaments. They would learn about feeding. They would learn what warning signs to look for when a horse comes down sick.

Riding lessons could then be set up if the parent and the child wishes.

Would you attend or use this as a gift for your child?
I thought of one for adults too but it will have to wait until the days are longer. It gets dark here at 5pm now.
