Horror movie with a family trapped in a room with creatures with long claws trying to get in?

I'm trying to remember the name of an OLD movie, I used to watch it when I was a kid. So probably early-mid 80's. All I remember is a family stuck in a room in a house with these creatures with long claws trying to get in the room and I remember a scene where members of the family were holding the door shut as the monsters tried to get in the room.

Anyone remember this?
