The spooky season is upon us, and at my end, we're getting into the spirit of things. Planning our pumpkin carving, thinking about spooky snacks and a freaky film-fest.
I've been looking forward to scaring myself silly with a nice atmospheric film like "Dumplings" or "Audition", but it looks like one of our group isn't keen on scary films. It's the blood, gore and gratuitous violence that gets to her.
So, I was wondering if there are any suggestions for a good, plot driven film that will send a chill down your spine (minus bloody bits)? There won't be any children amongst us, so adult themes are ok.
Having said that, I'm not against a good children's spooky film either, I liked Nightmare before Christmas and Coraline.
