...the social superstructure? (Marxism)? revising for my AS exams, and I came across a question that I cannot answer, and I don't have much in my class notes:
According to Marx, How does the economic infrastructure shape the social superstructure?
the limit of my understanding is that the social superstructure maintains and legitimates the base (economy) whilst the base shapes the superstructure (as stated in the question), but I don't understand how.
I will give a 'best answer' if it is an incentive!!
