Hopping between EDGE and GPRS ...

So this has just started today but my tmo service has been jumping between gprs and edge , I am not complaining about it just wondering if anyone between Sacramento and San Francisco CA has been experiencing the same.

I have an 8700 with os 4.5. I too have been between GSM, GPRS and edge. I've called t-mo, but the CSRs are useless. This started three weeks ago but for some odd reason it has gotten better. Ohhh, I forgot to mention that I live in Philly. I am also looking for answers and found that rebooting helps. Its getting old though. Thank You.

I had that happen here in Saint Paul Minnesota about 3 weeks ago. They told me they were updating the system. I heard they started in the east and were moving west. It lasted for about 12 hours.
