Hooray for getting sick!

so right now i'm supposed to be at a venue setting up for a show i was supposed to play in ... the past few days i've been vomiting all over the place and haven't been able to eat really anything...

Sick for my first show ... Was sposed to go to prom last night too - heh... I could have probably chosen a better time to lose my insides
 
Well, if there's one positive to all this, it's that the flu has brought you back to the loveliness that is WTF.com!

Ouch that sucks man. I know how you feel though. A year or two ago I had a horrible case of stomach flu that started in school. I was walking to my mom's car and right in the middle of the parking lot I heave-hoed all of my lunch. It was really embarassing and I also missed a field trip to Busch Gardens.

It'll clear up eventually though :thumbsup:

At least I didn't get sick on my trip to new york last week - that's all that I can really say... That would suck so much to be in Times Square and lose it
 
Haha or you could have been my friend Will who threw up on my teacher's shoes in kindergarten. That was epic.

Will: "Ms. Gunsallus...I don't feel so...ugghh.."
Ms. Gunsallus: "What's wrong Will?"
Will: "I don't feel...BLAARRRFFFUGGH"
 
im sorry for you. The doctors have pills or you can get an IV with meds in it to stop you from puking.

You would be able to go to the show then. After you get the meds, just drink some chicken broth.
 
I know how you feel. On my way back to college one time, I got so nauseated and it lasted for over 2 weeks. I went in to see a doc and he kept asking if I was preggers. I assured him I wasn't and he gave me anti-nausea pills. I still use them from time to time.
 
how long have you been sick? I got food poisoning about 2 weeks ago and it lasted for like 3 days - I was under the impression that food poisoning usually passed in about 24-36 hours.. whatever.

I hope you get better soon and get to catch your next show.
