I did the hole wiring in my car put new cd player in adn hooked up speakers and amp the system came on whats the possible reasons why the amp came on started working adn quiet working any subjection's?

you most likely have a wire in the wrong place. i did the same thing and it was just the wiring wasn't exactly right.

Prob a wire hooked up wrong. Double check all your wiring and make sure everything is correct! I had this problem before in my car... come to find out, I had a wire to my amp wrong!

is the amp getting power

if the amp is getting power its in protection mode which means it could be a couple things like your gain (input sensitivity setting) is too high, you have too low of a final impedance at the amp, you have a bad ground, or blown speakers

if the amp is not getting power you either have a bad ground, blown in-line fuse, or no power from your remote wire

Check the power light on the amp. If it's still on, it's probably wiring to the speakers. If the power light to the amp (pending it has one I guess) is off first two places I'd check would be:

1) The ground
2) The fuse coming off the power line to the battery

Did you buy a monster cable pack and are you running off of pre-outs from the stereo deck? Or is an in-line signal?
