Hooking Up An Older XP Media Center To My TV And HTS?

Ok so I have an older HP m7570n lying around and currently am VERY interested in hooking it up to my HDTV and Home Theater System (HTS) I have a DVI to HDMI cable coming and will be running it at 1280x720 since the TV only support up to 1080i/720p Unless you know a better resolution.
Any who on to the other problem getting sound out from the PC. Since it will be using HDMI for the video only the back of the PC does have Coaxial Digital Output. And the back of my HTS Sony system has Coaxial input. Is it that simple ? Also can I use any RCA cable I have lying around or does it have to be some Uber specific Coaxial audio cable? Thanks for your help. And please add any other suggestions. Oh and video card is an ATI Radeon X1600/1650 I don't know if it can go up to 1920x1080. That and I don't wanna have any issues with picture cut off so I might just stick to 1280x720.
