I have a question in my lab that says:
Using the equation, determine the extension when the force acting on the spring is 30 N. Is the answer you calculated valid ?

I am assuming that the answer would not be valid because the spring would have reached it's elastic limit, therefore it would not be an ideal spring anymore and Hooke's law would not be applicable.
Is that a proper answer ?

Also, how can I make changes to a graph using excel ? I want to add more points to the graph and I did that on the data table but I don't know how to edit the graph

For your first question, please clarify. I do not know what you're talking about. (maybe supply data to back it up)

2.) You can try rewriting it again. I'm sure it can't be that much.
But if you did it right, the added points should just appear when you type in the points on your data table.

You may email me if you need help.
