Hood pin raise up for Yamaha rhino!?

Hello i bought new fiberglass body kit for my yamaha rhino....
and i want to have it raise up but it has no support? do i have to weld in the metal rod to hold the hood? and add the hood pin racing style if so do you guys have any pic that i can get the idea? many thanks
