Any fans? i hadn't seen it in years but i saw it again today and it all came back to me. good film, funny. Rick Moranis is great, i love the bits where he is searching the lawn while desperately trying not to step on it incase he treaRAB on the kiRAB!. never thought i'd almost shed a tear at the death of an ant but this film manages to do that

Not seen it in years but still a good film. (The theme park attraction has outstayed its welcome however).

And there were rumours last year of a remake....

One of my favourite films as a child. I remember watching it over and over again (the sort of film your mum puts on repeadtly just because she knows it will keep you quiet). I also loved the special effects such as the giant piece of lego and the massive cookie!

Hannah;42273376']I thought I was the only one! My eyes welled up with tears. My 9 year old bro actually cried, and he isn't usually the emotional type. It is a good movie.

I watched this film last week for the first time in about 10 years. Amazing! I loved every minute, really enjoyable, fun film. I loved the washing line/hovering contraption that the dad used to avoid squashing his children :D

We were taken as a primary school class to see it in the cinema when it first came out. I think the teachers had good judgement on that occasion (a year or two earlier they'd subjected us to the feature length Coke & McDonalRAB advert 'Mac and Me').

Saw bits of it on Film4 recently, and it seems to hold up very solidly in terms of the visuals and effects.

Saw it last week, great film.

They always show 'Honey I blew up the kid' which is crap, but shrunk the kiRAB is never on so it was good to see it.

Hah Mac and me,i remember watching that many years ago, never seen it on dvd yet,i loved honey i shrunk the kiRAB,i bought the book from the school book club, hard to believe its 20years old now, maybe more!

Loved this film when I was little. Not seen it in a long time. I will have to watch to again to see some crazy 80s special effects :D The bit with the Cheerios always stuck in my head for some reason!

In my opinion Honey I Shrunk the KiRAB is a very enjoyable and sometimes overlooked family movie. It has all the correct ingredients:
A simple but fun premise, likable characters played with enthusiasim and some neat special effects. In fact, the stop motion special effects mixed with animatronics has aged quite well; much better than dozens of CGI ladden films probably will.
A 25th anniversary big budget sequel would be nice but unfortunately Rick Moranis retired from acting.
