The iPod isn't the best MP3 player if all you care about is the feature set, but it's the integration and usability that makes them popular. In all likelihood, the iPhone will be similar. That having been said, I'm not wasting my time with one until there's an HSDPA version with a real keyboard.

In theory it's almost worth it just for somethign that'll sync perfectly with my shit, play my music from the iTMS, and has wifi.

In practice, no keyboard and no 3g kills it for me, as do many other issues with it. Maybe down the road it'll suck less.

I can load 8 gigs of music onto an 8 gig SD card, and play it just fine on my 6700.
