Honda vs. Toyota? Reliability, build quality, etc...?

When it comes to spory rides..the civic is way far ahead than the damn corolla... With sporty looks handling ..reliable.. Toyota is noway near..they are good for family sedans (cradles) not for the Drag rides performance upgrades (i-chip tunes) n all. Except for the Supra that is.
Honda is my pic, no doubts. Honda is mostly used in drag races in US. A Civic sedan can be tuned to go on DRAG.

In all honesty, after driving the new Accord, the new Camry, and the new Malibu, the Malibu hands down the better quality car.

The 2009 Toyota Camry tended to feel too jittery on the highway, and they used a lot of cheap materials on the interior, wasn't impressed at all, where is the supposed high quality interiors MSN is always bragging about Toyota? It also got terrible gas mileage (26mpg on the highway with the 4 cylinder, cruise at 75mph)
The 2009 Accord I rented had a bit nicer feel to the interior than the Camry, well laid out, but I am nervous about the quality, it had very low mileage maybe a couple thousand miles, and was already rattling severely from the engine bay and underneath the car.
The Malibu I thought was much nicer, it didn't have the quirky "too light" feel the Camry had, and the interior was nicer than the Honda, (and didn't have the rattles and squeaks the Honda did).

I think maybe the Japanese are falling into what made the domestics so shi**y in the 80's and 90's, the bean counters are taking over the car designs and cutting costs. Luckily its nice to see GM has finally learned how to make a car again.
