Honda trx 450 es winch install?

I am installing a winch on a '99 Honda TRX 450 Foreman ATV, and I am wondering where to locate the contactor. The instructions say either under the seat or in the storage box, but does not specify which or where. Any help would be great, Thanks
 
any place you can put it that it will not be hit by some thing and stays some what dry and clean. where you put it is up to you
