Well, My '97 Mustang was fun to drive for the last few years. I just took it to inspection and it's not going to pass unless I pour $2,000 for a kit. So I went out on the lot and there was an '07 Mustang Pony package there for $14k. I got pre-approved by my bank and by the time I called the owner... SOLD! So I said "F$%# it, time to move on".

I heard all these good feed backs about imports and it's convinced me to buy an import. So I will.

*I'm debating on a Corolla, Civic, Sentra for MPG and reliability.
OR
*Hyundai Tiburon for 5 miles less on MPG but for the Sport of the car, reliability, and for good warranty, but Hyundai's embarrassing past.

I'm quite stumped. I love driving sporty cars and hate driving boring cars that put me to sleep on the road (don't want that to happen). I may be wrong, all the listed cars may be fun to drive.

I do not know what to get. Help is needed please.

Either Honda or Toyota. Nissan's aren't built that well and Hyundai is known for not standing behind their warranty

I think the Tiburon is the worst of the Asian sport coupes personally. I dunno if the new ones got any better, but if I was gonna get an Asian V6 or Inline 6 sport coupe I'd rather have a Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Why not look at the Sentra SE-R? Or a Civic SI? These aren't boring cars. They may not be as powerful as your Mustang, but are designed to be sporty nonetheless.

Also, for 14k, you can get an 02-04 turbocharged WRX that has been well cared for by its mature owner. Subaru is right at the top when it comes to reliability, much like Honda. I guess you would sacrifice terrific MPG numbers because of the turbo and AWD, but I guarantee it won't make you fall asleep on the road.

Nissan's aren't built that well?????????

I can only speak about my personal experience but i have owned 5 Nissan's so far and hoping to get my 6th soon,i have had really old and not so old models my first has 250k on the clock when i got it and is still going around, another i owned has 130k on the clock and is owned now by my bro and still going.Another i drove into 3 countries on a road trip and was a great car.
All have needed service work but non ever broke down and needed silly repairs.
At the same time my friend always sticks with Toyota and he has had no problems also.

TOYOTA AE 86
hella fun
my friend drives one...
it feels sooo cool when you are inside and he drifts a few sharp turns
