I own a 93 Honda Civic and just recently the Speedo stopped working,
It is either going on the correct speed or it drops to 0 and stays there,
I did a little bit of checking and supposely theres 3 things that might be the issue?
The Speedo and the miles clickers all do not work, nothing does so WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
When the speedo spins and almost "catchs" and starts working the miles clicker starts to work too.
Is it the Speedo cable?
Is it the VSS sensor? I guess its a sensor on top of the trans?? how would I change this?
Is it the cluster itself?
Someone also said something about wires under the intake that are bare and rubbing? Please go into detail about how to check this stuff out I would apprecaite!
Im pretty mechanic savvy however I dont know much about Hondas cause I just bought this car, so whatever advice or feedback is appreciated!
