I am a five foot tall girl who's been a commuter & has been riding a 250 rebel. I'm looking to purchasing a honda shadow 750 or a yamaha vstar 650. I'm looking for the folowing qualities in a bigger bike:
1. reliability
2. doesn't need much maintenance
3. speed, & ability to run well on freeways
4. a bike that is easy to handle when riding
I went to go look at a 2001 shadow and a 2002 vstar this weekend and it seems that the vstar's seat is a little lower because I was able to ride it flat footed. However, when listening to the sound of the engine of the shadow, it was INCREDIBLY smooth sounding and a very smooth ride. What do you think, honda shadow or yamaha vstar?
