Honda shadow headlight problem?

sound like a bad ground. connect a wire to any metal part of your bulb and the other end to any metal part on your bike.if this makes it work rite then u nee to find were your ground is bad or run a new ground. hope this helps
 
I have a 2001 Honda shadow 600, my headlight went out on me so I bought a new one and installed it. Its still out,and the blue light indicating "high-beam" is lit regardless of the fact it is in the low beam setting.

Could this be a fuse problem? Where could I access the fuse panel if so.

Any feedback would be very much appreciated!
