The car has roughly 104,600 miles and is due for 105,000 mile maintenance. This requires inspections, changing oil, some fluids, timing belt, spark plugs, water pump and tire rotation. I got an over the phone approximation of cost from a Honda dealer and it was $1200-1500. I also got one from a Midas shop, this was more detailed since it was in person and on paper, $1000. I am wondering if it is worth spending extra in a dealer shop versus Midas? Would the work be just as good at Midas? I have no experience fixing cars, so doing it myself is not an option.
