Honda Rebel Question?

The first street bike I ever rode was the Rebel. Ive been riding a 1300vtx for a little over a year now but keep remembering how much fun that little rebel was. I am considering buying a rebel and keeping both.

Has anybody ever step down from a large bike and still had fun?

Maby my memories are clouded by a nostalgic fog.
 
I got my 600cc Shadow back from my wife after I rode a Valkyrie for a number of years.. It's a hoot around town (I still own the Valk).
I rode my kid's 250 Virago around a few times, too. I'd own one if circumstances permitted.
