Neither one really has mechanical problems.
92 prelude si or 93 Nissan pathfinder xe-v6
Preludes got 140k miles pathfinders got 72k miles
my only real issue would be the 14-18 mpg in the pathfinder vs the 23-30 mpg in the prelude plus the prelude takes premium gas. The pathfinder would be nice with all the extra room, but it's so slow compared to the prelude. The problem with the prelude is it's only really suitable for 2 people.
I'd get either one for free. Which one would you rather have?
