Looking into buying a 97 Honda prelude. Found one on Craigslist. The guy says it only has 6000 miles on a rebuilt h22a engine. 216000 on the body of the car. He says the only problem is that it hops going into second gear and that a solenoid needs to be replaced. Does this sound correct or could it be a transmission problem? And is there a way to check? And finally is this kind of engine replacement reliable?
