Today my friend and I decided to try and start a 83 honda nighthawk 650 that had been sitting at his dads house for about a year. After a new battery and some tries to start it while messing with the choke we finally got it started and I went around the block a few times. Once I got it back to the house I turned it off and not 2 minutes later my friend decided he wanted to ride it as well. He gets on, turns the key and all is well until he tries to hit the start button and nothing happens. The lights are on and everything works but it just wont start. Doesn't even make a noise like it's trying.
