honda motorcycle throttle trouble?

hi there! i have a recently restored 1970's era honda CL100, and i've been having issues with the throttle sticking wide open. i replaced the throttle cable and spring. the problem is the throttle valve, once it reaches the top of the carburetor (fully open, full throttle) it rubs to much against the side, keeping the spring from returning the valve to idling position.

i have cleaned the carb, replaced the cable, spring, nothing worked. what can i do?

please. only knowledgable answers. i really need help.

About the only thing I can think of it to rub the slide and inside the carb body with some fine wet/dry paper, probably about an 800 grade.
The only other solution is to check the twist grip isn't getting stuck, as you have replaced just about all the other moving components.
