So I have a 2005 Honda Foremen 500 manual shift. I use the unit to plow with during the winter and It's been awesome the last 6 years. So I was plowing yesterday and all of a sudden It wouldn't shift into revers..It will allow me to press the red reverse button down and pull the brake lever in fine but it will not down shift into reverse 98% of the time..Once in a while it will go in but it's really really hard to get it to do it. Any info on the problem would help. I'm thinking that maybe some water go into the drum and froze and won't allow the shifter to go down..but if this is true, why haven't I expirenced this problem in the last 6 years?
