My sister is selling us her 1993 Honda Accord. She has owned it for the past 2 years and it has done this since the day that she bought it. They took into the shop but since it is a 93 they didn't have a computer that they could hook it up to, to check it out. What happens is, when you first start it up it will rev real high, up to almost 3rpm but as soon as you put it into gear it stops doing it and drives fine. It does not do it at stops or anything after it is started the first time. It also does not do it all the time and definitely is worse when the weather is cold. There is no check engine light on. The car has a little bit over 85000 miles on it, which is awesome for a Honda. The car drives great and we love it. Just wondering what the cause of this issue is. Doesn't seem like it would be a big deal because it was always done it and has never changed. Any advice or insight would be appreciated.

We live in Northeast Ohio. It is pretty cold here in the winter....teens to 20s most of the time. The other day when it was rainy and 45-ish degrees it didn't do it and it had been sitting outside for about 9 hours at night while I was at work.
