I recently got a used 02 civic financed through a dealership. It had a battery issue which the dealer agreed to resolve in a couple of days. Ive checked almost everything on this except keyless entry.
Now when everything is done and I paid the balance down I realize I did not check it. I ask him and he says the previous owner did not give it to him. But the dealer listed it as a convenience option in the ad I looked at. When I probe him further on this he says the civic has it installed but the remote key needs to be bought and configured so he listed it.
I think this is unfair that I am having to pay for something that I assumed would come with a purchase.
