I am looking for a new car and one of the models I am considering is the Honda CR-Z, which is a hybrid. I do not drive much, maybe 30-50 miles once a week, so it's more about liking the style of the car than saving money on gas, although I do like the fact it is a "greener" car. I have two concerns: will only driving once a week or sometimes only once every two weeks affect the life of the hybrid battery and how long should I expect the hybrid battery to last driving as I do? I do plan to keep the car at least 10 years, but if I will almost certainly have to spend big bucks to replace the battery, that is a major concern. Dealers tend to tell you what will make you buy the car, so I need unbiased opinions please & thanks so much.
I am also considering the Honda Fit, Hyundai Genesis Coupe & Kia Forte Koup if you have any thoughts about them.
