i bought my car already done almost but i was wondering is there anything cheaper that would help performance on it..what about some timing belt i was told about or something like that which makes the car sound like it has turbo
 
Making a car sound like it has a turbo doesn't improve it's performance. Best thing to do is keep a nice clean air filter, keep the engine clean and change your oil.

As far as modifications, you may just want to start off with a custom intake/exhaust system.
