My birthdays in about 2 weeks and im a die hard car lover, mostly JDM kind of cars. I cant get a car for my birthday but I can get one once I pass my driving test. Since I have to wait about 6 months and I'm going to start working next week, you think its a good idea to get a 2010 civic si since im going to have enough money for a good down payment.

You have to be 18 to legally enter into a contract for a loan to buy a car. You also have to be 18 to legal own, register, & insure the car. The Civic Si is nice, but at a very young age the insurance is gonna break the bank. It's classified as a sports car & for teen males you are considered a very high risk. I assume you are a teen the way you talk. I'd do a bit more homework on what it takes to finance a car. At the bottom of this link is a payment calculator. Use it as guide to make an informed decision.

If you like it, just go for it. It is very nice car, good on gas, reliable - what do you need more? (unless you have more money for Acura)
Good luck!
