my speedometer quit working on my 96 civic lx. i was driving and it just quit now it will jump from 0 to 100 then go back to 0 i have looked at the wires under the manifold and there are no exposed wires all the other gauges work and i have also checked the fuse i just get it to work and also my check engine light came on the same time my meter stopped working..any ideas let me now.. OH YEAH I ALSO TOOK IT TO AUTO ZONE AND THEY CHECKED THE ENGINE LIGHT AND THE CODE SAID pen or short circuit or failed ecm but i dont want to spend a lot of money on a new one when it could be somthing simple....
