Honda Civic problem!?!?

My car just broke down.. I was accelerating, my engine sounded fine but my car wouldnt move .. I was driving and it just stopped moving forward.. I don't have the check engine light on, I tried turning it off and on but no luck, what could be the problem?
My car just gave up on me, it's a 2001 Honda civic automatic transmition.. I was driving and it just stopped moving forward.. My engine sounds fine and I don't have a check engene light .. What could be the problem??

best thing to do is rebuilt it or buy a 5speed and swap it with 5 speed u wont b having that pproblem
Do it rev high if u put iton D and doesnt move? sounds like grinding sound?
