im stuck between buying a 2003 honda civic sedan or an acura 1.7

acura looks more sporty.. i dont know much about them.. assuming their both great condition and i know both the km are roughly the same, what is the better choice. im a carpenter so i need trunk space.. but i also want it to look good..

i need to know the benefits and difference between both.. gas/insurance/rust spots/ performace/size and anything else you can think of to help me understand more about each car

I WOULD SAY HONDA, ONLY BECAUSE THEY LAST FOREVER IF YOU KEEP UP ON GENERAL MAINTENANCE. THEY ARE VERY GOOD CARS AND GET GOOD GAS MILEAGE.

hondas and acuras are my two favorite cars..

i would say a honda civic. they last forever.. 300k miles with frequent oil changes, timing belt change, transmission flush, etc..

if you want sporty you could try a civic coupe. its 2 door but they look a lot better than sedans. and they have just fine trunk space. gas is amazing.. mine gets 35 mpg and i drive a 2000 civic. insurance on mine is actually pretty cheep and ive totalled two cars so its fantastic. GO ALLSTATE! mine is about 10 years old and nothing is wrong with it.. no rust. its great everything still works just fine. i just changed the timing belt after 7 years but thats routine maintenance... its a great car.

acuras are good too but theyre a little more expensive and dont last as long. most people think civics look better.
and theyre so common that its not hard to find parts for them, even though theyre imports.
